OUR GENESIS

BORN FROM A HOMEWORK

It was a homework for the sports management students of Sports & Management Research Institute (SMRI)– “Make a business plan for a sports club”. Arjun M J, one of the students came up with the plan for a community club. That was the small beginning of SPORTY KOCHI COMMUNITY SPORTS CLUB.

WORKING ON KHELDO PRINCIPLES​

SPORTY KOCHI is working based on the ‘KHELDO’ principles developed by Sijin B T, sports management guru & cofounder of Sporty Kochi. He is the founder of the Sports & Management Research Institute (SMRI), sports promoter and author. He won the Kerala State Sports Council’s award for the best sports book in 2018.
